Election Date: April 7, 2026

Candidate Eligibility Requirements:

• Registered elector
• At least 18 years of age by election date
• Resident of the Town of Dinosaur for at least 12 consecutive months

Nomination Timeline:

• Petitions available starting: January 6, 2026
• Deadline to submit petitions: January 26, 2026 by 5:00 PM

Hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Offices to be Elected:

• Mayor – 2-year term
• Two Trustees – 4-year terms
• Two Trustees – 2-year terms

Voter Registration Notice

You may register to vote up to and including April 7, 2026.

Eligibility Requirements:

• U.S. Citizen
• At least 18 years of age
• Resident of Colorado for at least 22 days prior to election

Where to Register:

• Town Hall – 317 Stegosaurus Freeway, Dinosaur
• Rio Blanco County Clerk’s Office (Craig, CO)

Hours: During regular business hours

Absentee (Mail) Ballot Notice

Any registered elector of the Town of Dinosaur may vote by absentee ballot.

Application Deadline:
April 3, 2026 at 5:00 PM

Ballot Return Deadline:
